Convenient Vancouver Storage Units for Short- or Long-Term

What you should store away to make room for the Christmas tree is going to vary
considerably from person to person.

But we’ll give you some hints.

1. Store the decorations for other holidays.

If your Halloween decorations are still out, those are the first things to put back
into storage. In fact, any knickknacks you could live without should get put away
to make room for the Christmas fare.

You may have more than just a Christmas tree to put up. You may have all kinds
of Christmas decorations, stockings, dishes, serving platters, candles and an
unlimited number of other possibilities.

2. Any excess accent furniture.

The Christmas tree should be the focal point of the room. If you’re like most
Vancouver folks, you probably don’t have a lot of extra square footage at home.

Any chairs that people don’t sit on or small decorative items or tables can all be
put away to make room for Christmas tree stuff.

3. Spring cleaning in November.

Just go ahead and do a spring cleaning in November. Get rid of all the clutter
including cans that need recycling, paper that needs shredding, and the books you
want to give away.

Be ruthless. No one can enjoy the holiday cheer if there’s all kinds of
miscellaneous things everywhere. If your place is neater, you will be happier and
feel better. And then you can let Christmas reign.

We’re not kidding, you know. There is real peer-reviewed research that supports
that people are happier when their living environment is neat and orderly.
